VACCINE UPDATES:

PERTUSSIS (WHOOPING COUGH) VACCINE FOR
ADULTS:
Adults who have or who anticipate having close
contact with  infants aged <12 months (e.g., parents,
grandparents aged <65 years, child-care providers,
and health-care personnel) should receive  Tdap
vaccine to reduce the risk for transmitting pertussis.

VARICELLA
A booster dose of Varicella Vaccine (Varivax) is now
recommended for children four years and older.  This
is in addition to the dose usually administered at one
year of age.

GARDASIL
Gardasil is for girls and young women and boys ages
9 to 26 years. Is the only cervical cancer vaccine that
helps protect against 4 types of human papillomavirus
(HPV): 2 types that cause 70% of cervical cancer cases,
and 2 more types that cause 90% of genital warts

MENACTRA
Meningococcal Vaccine is now recommended for
children as young as 2 years old please call our office
